These terms cover the mobile apps made by RAK DOKY LTD and the way you may use them. The studio has built mobile apps for years. Every product is made for both iOS and Android: behavior, design, the build, testing, release, and the updates that follow. Using an app means these terms, and the privacy note published beside them, describe that product.
The same facts
The apps build no personal profile. They do not ask for a name, an email address, a phone number, a contact list, or a precise location in order to describe who you are. Users do not send personal data to each other. There is no directory and no shared thread. What one person writes is not a letter delivered to someone else.
Attribution uses Singular. Push notifications use OneSignal. The only identifying item is a unique id, so those two jobs can tell one installation from another. The id is not your name, and in these apps it is not tied to an email address or a phone number. It is not a way for another user to find you. When the installation is removed, that id no longer points at a phone the studio can reach.
If you email the developer, that message is ordinary mail. It contains what you chose to put in it. It is read so the studio can answer. It is not mixed into the unique id, and it is not shown to other users of the app.
Acceptable use
Use the app for the task it shows you. Do not use it to harass anyone, to break the law, or to push another person's private material through a product that was never a pipe between people. Do not try to turn the assistant into a courier. It will not carry a note from you to another user, and attempting to make it do so is outside these terms.
Do not probe the app in order to reach other people's installations, their unique ids, or the studio's mail. Do not send the developer material you have no right to share. A phone that behaves badly toward the service, or toward other people, can be refused an update. The studio would rather withdraw a build than leave a harmful one tied up at the pier.
- Follow the law that applies to you when you use the app.
- Leave other people alone. The product will not introduce you.
- Treat the assistant as a limited reply, never as a person you can order.
The assistant's limits
The in-app assistant can talk with users. It is not a human. It is not professional advice. It does not practice law, medicine, finance, or any other specialist trade, and a confident sentence from it does not become those things. What someone writes is used only to answer that person. Those messages are not passed to other users and are not kept as a personal profile.
You agree not to rely on the assistant for a decision that needs a qualified person. If the reply is wrong, incomplete, or silent, the responsibility for what you do next stays with you. The studio's duty is to keep the assistant inside those limits, not to pretend the lantern is a pilot. When a question needs a human at the studio, write. Do not wait for the assistant to become one.
Availability
The apps and the assistant are offered as they run on real phones. They can be down, slow, or a version behind. A notice sent through OneSignal may arrive late or not at all, because the phone, the network, and the system settings all have a say. An answer from the assistant may be unavailable when the network is. A task that can be done on the device should still be possible; a task that needs a reply may have to wait.
The studio does not promise uninterrupted service, a particular store ranking, or that an install measured by Singular will match a number you hoped to see. Updates are part of the work. A version can be replaced or withdrawn if it causes harm. Both platforms are meant to receive the same care, and a gap between them is something the studio treats as unfinished work, not as a feature.
Changes
These terms can change when the apps change. The effective date at the top is the date of this version. The text on this page is the one that applies. If a change matters to how you use an app, the studio can also say so in the product. Keeping an older file is a record of an older date. The privacy note can change on its own date, and the two pages should be read together when you want the full picture.
Disputes
If you have a dispute about an app, about the assistant, about these terms, or about the privacy note, write to the developer. The path is a letter, not a forum and not a suit filed in a city this page does not name. Send it to RAK DOKY LTD at [email protected]. Say what happened, which app, and what you want done.
The studio will answer in writing. That exchange is how a dispute is raised and how it is resolved. Please write plainly. Do not include secrets you would not put in a letter. The mailbox is the same one named on the contact page. Nothing in that correspondence is published to other users, and it is not attached to the unique id inside the app.
